Every project is in a different stage of maturity. We clearly label each stage to set expectations.

Concept phase. Validating problems, gathering interest, and mapping out features before writing code or manufacturing.

BuildingBuilding

Active development. Prototyping, designing, and coding. Often seeking alpha testers, co-founders, or design critique.

LiveLive

Launched and operational. Available for the public to use, purchase, or test in production.

PausedPaused

On hold or completed experiment. Preserved for learning, reference, and community inspiration.

Creator-First Moderation

You are in control of the conversation around your project.

We understand that sharing early-stage work can feel vulnerable. MakeIX gives project owners complete authority over their comment section. You can choose to keep comments fully open, enable pre-moderation (where you approve comments before they appear publicly), or disable comments entirely while focusing on building.
